This is one of the first tours I put together.
And it is still one of my favorites. Over the years I’ve improved to include more food, including one of the incredible new stops here in town The King’s Crab.
What I’m most proud of with this tour is that we found a way to include 8 local businesses as a part of the program.
A lot of the feedback we hear on this tour is that it was a great family experience. Everybody got the chance to feel included while enjoying some of our finest establishments.

If you want to check out downtown Juneau and see what kind of food is available, take this walking food tour! Our guide was very knowledgable about Juneau and explained all about the food locations we sampled. We tried lobster bisque, bbq ribs, halibut, salmon, and more! The pace of the tour was just right. The hosts at each destination made us feel like special guests.

We sampled a diverse selection of locations and foods which proved to be a delightful way to spend time in the city. Our guide was fantastic! He was so personable, speaking with ease and knowledge about the food and the town, and setting a comfortable pace along the route. Most definitely! While the Prohibition Progressive Party doesn’t provide city history, it includes unique and quite colorful history of the era. Many locals end the tour with “I never knew that!”
We do not have a waitlist. All tours are confirmed no later than 9 a.m. the morning of the tour.
Our minimum age is 15. This policy allows guests to have an enjoyable time while dining on Alaska’s bounty.
We get it, things happen and sometimes plans need to change. Given the nature of our tours, our cancellation policy is a full refund if canceled prior to 48 hours of the tour. If within 48 hours, there is no refund. If for any reason your cruise ship does not come to Juneau or Juneau Food Tours cancels the tour, we will offer a full refund.
