Joel and Matt led us 16 ladies on a tour today. They were so patient, friendly and knowledgeable! They took us through 8 different amazing restaurants, bars, and shops that sell food and drinks. It was an awesome way to experience Juneau. Easy walking through the downtown area with plenty of stops to rest. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting- you won’t regret it!

If you want to check out downtown Juneau and see what kind of food is available, take this walking food tour! Our guide was very knowledgable about Juneau and explained all about the food locations we sampled. We tried lobster bisque, bbq ribs, halibut, salmon, and more! The pace of the tour was just right. The hosts at each destination made us feel like special guests.

Plate icon Amazing Experience

I’m so glad I booked a reservation! Our first food tour was an amazing experience. We had everything from panko coated pink salmon to hog wings to crab cakes to halibut dumplings to kelp salsa. We also got to taste hard cider and Alaskan beer. The glacier tea and cookies, and all the rest was fantastic, making us members of the clean plate club. Lorinda was our guide and we loved her!
